Dear Peter and David,
With heavy hearts we extend to you our condolences. Penny’s death is tragic and our world is poorer without her unique presence. During her years with us, we came to appreciate her creativity, caring, love of learning and literature, and joyful wonder at nature’s beauty and power. We are grateful for the gift of her life.
We will remember you and your family in our prayer as you grieve this painful loss. We hold Penny in prayer as well, confident that she lives now in the presence of the God we know to be Love.

I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your love and thoughts. We are so sorry for the loss that you share with us in losing our sweet Penny so suddenly and tragically. We take comfort in knowing that the amazing person she was, the kind things she said and did, the way she motivated us to try to be better versions of ourselves all of these things will continue to influence us and the memory of her will make every day a little bit better.

Such a tragic loss for us and Denver School District - you will be one of my guardian angels for the remainder of my life on this earth, as I know you have affected many of us mortals in a positive way.
